If you’re unable to scan the QR code or prefer a different activation method, you can use the manual activation code to set up your eSIM. This guide walks you through the process for both iOS and Android devices.

iOS / iPhone Instructions

  1. Open Settings and navigate to Cellular (may be called Mobile or Mobile Service)
  2. Under Cellular Plans, tap Add eSIM
  3. When your camera opens, look for Enter Details Manually at the bottom
  4. Enter the following information:
    • SM-DP+ Address (shown in your account)
    • Activation Code (shown in your account)
    • Leave the Confirmation Code blank (not required)
  5. Tap Next and follow the prompts to complete installation

Note: If you see “Unable to Activate eSIM”, check if the eSIM is already installed on your device.

Android 13 / Google Pixel Instructions

  1. Go to Settings > Network and Internet
  2. Find SIMs and tap the + icon
  3. Select Download a SIM instead? at the bottom

  7. Enter your Manual Activation Code exactly as shown in your account
  8. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the new data plan

Device Compatibility

If you don’t see these options on your device, it may not support eSIM technology. Most modern smartphones support eSIM, including:

  • iPhone XS and newer
  • Google Pixel 3 and newer
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer
  • Recent iPad Pro models

Troubleshooting Tips

  1. Double-check that you’ve entered the activation code exactly as shown
  2. Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or has cellular data
  3. Restart your device if you encounter any errors
  4. Contact support if you continue to have issues

Remember to enable data roaming after installation to ensure your eSIM works properly while traveling.
